South Orange County cities and water agencies are working collaboratively on a water forum that will help local homeowners associations (HOAs) increase their water use efficiency. At the forum, HOA board members, property managers and residents will learn about new resources and technologies that will help their HOA save water and money.
Our goal for the workshop is to help you maintain and improve your landscape while using less water, reducing water waste and urban runoff, and lowering your water bill.
Topics that will be addressed at the workshop include:
- water sources, water reliability, and possible water restrictions
- water-efficient irrigation hardware and techniques
- low water use plants
- rebate programs for water-conserving devices
- urban runoff regulations and best practices
Manufacturers will showcase some of the water-efficient products that qualify for rebates. Representatives from all sponsoring agencies and cities will be present to answer your questions.
The workshop is sponsored by MWDOC and the cities of
Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, and Rancho Santa Margarita, as well as El Toro Water District, Moulton Niguel Water District and Santa Margarita Water District.
